Very impressive. Are the speed and handling all that you expected.

The handling in the rough conditions experienced was fantastic - need to see what the top speed in flat conditions is now! Might need to go up up prop size or two!
Here are a few of my favourite photos from Tim Tapping's shoot - he did a great job from a smallish RIB!
Rooster!
Scary! As you can see from this head on shot, the visibility from a canopy boat can be very good - no problems at slow speed either, the boat runs flat at Salcombe Harbour speeds so you can see what's going on around you with a problem, the high speed visibility is also excellent and despite the conditions we had hardly any spray on the screen at all!
It's me in the middle and Kitten is on the left with Jeremy our other crew member on the right - Graham who I have been racing with for years will also be in the crew.

I see what you mean - the boat has been compared to a Ferrari quite a bit as well - I'm sure a few stickers and a racing stripe will sort all that out!

Does it spend enough time IN the water to get cooling water to the engines?

First of all sorry about the whole Poole Quay thing - we were directed to Lake Boatyard and the marina entrance is narrow and not protected from the wind and tide, one boat had clattered the sides ont he way out so we decided to leave it on the trailer on Saturday. The gods that be wold only let us do the basic race rather than the Marathon race - that sage will run on for a while I think - more details as I know them.
As for the race itself - the boat behaved perfectly with only one issue with a trim ram to report. The team worked well together and we're looking forward to racing the boat lots more.
Unfortunately the GoPro camera remained on top of the boat charged up with a 32gig card in it but some numpty forgot to turn it on! Ooooooops!
Polwort - plenty of cooling! The trouble is everyone published photos of the thing flying!
