Firstly bareboat is pretty uncommon. Secondly what are you looking for? There was a big cabin redbay based at Craobh Haven but not sure if it is back in action after an "engine overall" recently? There was also someone in Largs offering bareboat. neither of these options will be cheap - you'd potentially be better off buying something like beamishkens boat using it for two weeks, even keeping it up there all season and selling on again for essentially the same money a few months later. Assuming of course you had the cashflow to do that! There may be a few smaller options but they are likely to come with fairly tight restrictions on usage area etc.

It has been re-engined and is now based at Dunstaffnage.

I dont know of anything that would be suitable for ERR but somewhere deep in my Web history I have a couple of links I will dig out later, which would help to get over water withdrawl symptoms! They may not be exactly what you want though.

Mallaig...
Check out these options, none of them are RIBs or going to offer that level of speed - but it might provide a little adventure with kids:
or you could rent a cottage on an island and get a boat as part of the deal!
There's also some options for sleep aboard cruisers on the Caledonian Canal, and narrow boats on the Lowland Canal.
