Bargain Ribcraft RIB 's ex Olympic use
Ribcraft were contracted to supply 64 boats for the Olympics, 20 x 7.8mtr and the rest 5.85's, at the end of the games Ribcraft will have about half of the fleet available for purchase at extremely competitive prices. The company has also negotiated with the main engine supplier Suzuki to offer complete packages with engines if required, anyone think these would be a good buy?
They are available now for pre order with an 'as new warranty'

Like paul says, I had a mail shot about this months ago (in my role within an RYA RTE)
Prices range from £16,000 to £26,000 and represent just over half RRP (60% I think).

There are 585s and a few larger ribs available
Ribcraft 5.85 Inline Seating
Ribcraft have supplied over 50 boats for the London 2012 Sailing Events at Weymouth and Portland. At the end of the event in September we will have approximately half of these available for purchase at extremely competitive rates. We have negotiated with the main engine supplier ‘Suzuki’ to offer these as complete packages with discounted engines if required.
We are initially offering these for sale exclusively to RYA affiliated clubs, training centres and class associations.
We have three different styles available and these can be further customised to suit your requirements with the additions of trailers, extra seating and ‘A’ frames etc.
The boats will be serviced and in A1 condition before being sold with a complete ‘as new’ warranty, they are available for pre-order immediately with a low holding deposit. If you have any questions or would like further information, please don’t hesitate to contact me
Yours Sincerely
Jason Purvey

Yes saw your post so well done for sharing, as it was before my time I didn't see it, thought there would be more excitement about it but then thought maybe prices were too high hence my question are they a good deal.

Ex-Olympic Ribcraft/s*
I wonder will the engines complete their "run-in" period before the WAFIs and 'Oarjockeys get their mitts on them?
I'd also be interested in the expected engine hours, considering that the average leisure engine does 50-75 hours per season.
*What IS the plural of "Ribcraft"? Ribcrafts? Ribcrafti?

Should Ribcraft owners be referred to as "Ribcrafterati"?
