'BBC Working Lunch': Bembridge Outboards

There was an interesting bit on Bembridge Outboards and their development of the Shearwater RIB on today's Working Lunch programme. Its on iPlayer:

http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/page/it...n_pid=b008s9j0

You can FF to 13:06 where the feature starts. Good coverage, I thought.

They are getting some good publicity of late after being a runner up in the sports boat awards. Hope it goes well for them. Dealt with them a couple of times and they have always been very helpful.

The Shearwater looks good, and ticks all the boxes for me except one.

It can't be spec'd with twin engines of a decent size.

It is a very narrow hull - a Ring I think. Very easily driven so will fly with a 300!!!
