Belfast City marina

In reply to Willks query. The new marina is great, just 60 berths so far but is being extended to 200. It's right in the centre behind the Titanic building. The visitors pontoons are great with a car park style ticket machine..when you enter the outer harbour approaches call Belfast harbour on VHF ch 12 to ask for clearance, lots of big ship movement. The marina is secure via touchpad..We only called for a flying visit.but there are lots of pubs & things to see. Unfortunately id'e left my camera switched on so flattened the battery so no photos. Sorry Willks don't understand VTS or PITA

I can vouch for the accuracy of info here. It was originally opened in 2009 for the Tall Ships. I went along - on the water - and was mightily impressed with how central to the city it is and how easy to get to the centre from the marina. I like the pay as you go ticket machines and the place is secure night and day. Belfast is a busy port and there are a lot of ship movements tho not too close to the marina. They do like you to keep to the speed limit!!!

Where are the original queries Willk?

Have a look at the website Willk - https://www.belfast-harbour.co.uk/port/marina
