Thanks. It's made of Okume marine ply, covered with fiberglass/polyester resin. It was laminated basically totally ready before fitting(partly also painted. It's then glued down with thick epoxy glue and then after "rounding" the corners with putty, laminated to the hull with Fiberglas fabric(several layers). Then everything was painted with epoxy primer + 2K PU topcoat.
No crack's anywhere so far. The "hatch" has no hinges, just strap it down, works fine for me, think its good to be able to remove the hatch totally without tools. Did not bother to make a very smooth surface as the rest of the interior is rather rough(ex navy boat). Also made a small deck well for the bilge pump(that have so far not fitted...
