Best catches for vipermax discovery console

Anyone know of a neat lockable latch mechanism that would suit the hinging top of a discovery console on my vipermax? Flush fitting would be nice. Protex type catches are OK but leave lots to snag on.

Saw these

not flush but nice and smooth and no padlocks bouncing around - anyone used these?

Yes. I have a big catamaran trailer with about 200 quid of the things holding the various lids down. Nice but not pretty. The flush ones look good but don't work in the right way. The console top lifts upwards like a hatch.
