Best Online Day Skipper Theory Course?

A bit of background to this firstly, I intend to get my Day Skipper's ticket, in order to get my ICC for SAILING, mainly with a view to charter/flotilla holidays (I've done these in the distant past when no ICC was required)

As such I'm planning on doing the Day Skipper theory course, due to various reasons (timing of local shore based course, being able to work at my own speed etc.) I'm looking at doing it online. It'll probably be useful for my Ribbing and lifeboating too.

So has anyone used any of the online providers and any feedback good or bad?

A lot of the suppliers use the same software.

I did my DS Theory with Howell Sail, RYA Online and Practical Navigation and Day Skipper Courses which worked well.

If you decide to go on to YM Theory I'd recommend doing it in a classroom, in addition to the syllabus I learnt loads from the anecdotes from the instructor which I'd have missed had I done it online, stuff not on the syllabus but useful nonetheless.

Thanks for that, not intending to go down the YM route yet but may in years to come, I can see the advantages of classroom training and would consider it at that level.
