RIBase
I tried just about everything; singing wire, CD's strung on a line, bird calls, a rotating bird scarer, dummy birds etc. Nothing works long term. It scares birds for a bit, then after a week they get used to it and come back. They SEEMED to be attracted to the colour of my boat but maybe that's my imagination.
After a thorough jet wash of my boat and it all looking very bright and shiny I would lookback to the marina a see the birds gathering over my boat as if to say "thank goodness that chap has cleaned ou toilet for us, now maybe we can settle back on it and have a nice cxxp".

Way to get the crowd on your side

The only thing that I've found that works is to tie 50 quid notes to a rope and let them flutter in wind.

It won't stop the seagulls but there will be so many people on the boat stealing they won't have space to land.

For the failsafe option you need to get frankie boy on the case.....

Strawberry net.

Will stop them landing on it but won't do anything for aerial bombardment.

I know what you mean, it's like having screw down jockey seats aaaaghh...what about a 50 Cal browning or a resident cat?

Also depends on what rib you have, i know of of few manufacturers that having seagull poo all over it actually makes it look more functional and increases its value!

Last option, just get a cover?

Sensible reply :
Do you happen to store your RIB in the ‘premium’ undercover area in James Watt Dock marina ? Must be one of the few places you need to put a cover on a boat to store it undercover !!! [emoji848]

Non-sensible reply :
Don’t let her back onboard [emoji6]
