been looking at the bison marine rib.
i have a johnson 9.9 outboard and will be using the rib for sea and lakes for fishing,

Yeah I'd agree with the above...ALOT of Bang for your Bucks by the look of it.
Appears like a Zodi copy...or at least heavily influenced...not a bad thing if the build quality is OK!
Always a good idea to take someone with a bit more knowledge/experience when you go to see/pay for it if your not too sure yourself.

It looks like a decent sib at a good price. But IMHO you are much better going for a brand name, the Honda will only cost a few quid more and will have a much much higher residual value.
