Black SR 5.4

Was speaking to a guy yesterday that has a black hulled 5.4, he questioned the authenticity of it and contacted Avon who said that the hull must have been painted, they later contacted him to say yes it is was a factory colour produced for the police. I presume that this is a very rare boat?

Yes I would have said so, I have never seen one in the few years I've been looking at them.

Are the tubes and console black too?

Yes that was the guy, I have not got pics as yet, but it does look the biz.

They use them in Plymouth.. Updated to black about 5 years ago. Look very smart.
