I was the lead pace boat with PLA harbourmaster,,,as far as Gravesend.
Didn't do the whole thing, but even the Thames part was a lot of fun, and I know the rest of the rally went really well and they all had a good time.
I'm based on the Thames, and I'm going again to the start, possibly with some press/tv crews on board for the start, but sadly i don't have the time to do the whole rally this year either.
There was a very long thread about it under "racing" last year. It speaks for itself, but ultimately was a success.
There are many more boats going this year. Lots of RIBS.
