Blanking plate

Thansk for the help with the DSC radio, it seems i am not going to find one that fits in the hole made of fit my orignal radio, so does anybody know of anybody who does blanking plates, e.g a plate to fit over the hole made and then make a new hole in the balning plate the correct size for a new radio, you are clever people someone will know

A bit of well finished marine ply will probably do the job.

Since you have a posh rib how about a nice piece of polished stainless steel cut to size held in place with some rather nice stainless steel bolts so it looks like its supposed to be there.

A piece of Carbon Fibre sheet with Stainless domed Cap screws in the corners would look high tech.

Alternatly a piece of heavily tinted 5mm Polycarbonate with the back sprayed Black or even Silver looks great when viewed from the front through the tint.
