Boatlife live NEC Birmingham 2023

Boatlife live is back next year for it's second year and tickets are being discounted at the moment for a very reasonable £13 per ticket (16 and under free)

The show is at the NEC Birmingham between 16-19 of February.

I went to the show this year for it's inaugural outing and I wasn't expecting much if I'm being honest and I didn't expect Rib boats to be very well represented.....I was wrong, in fact It was the best represented genre.
I did do a review if you care to search.
I do think the show will grow if it keeps going and being that it is in February....what the hell else we going to do at that time of year? I know it's not Southampton boat show but it's indoors and it's warm....and a friendly show too.

So there you have it....what do you have to lose....apart from £13

Be safe out there...and Merry Christmas to you all.

I thought it was quite pants and not worth the time to visit let alone the cost of parking last year & that was with a free RYA ticket.
Doubt I'll bother unless im very bored!
However....

I think it comes down to expectations, as I stated I wasn't expecting too much but enjoyed the show and talking to the dealers. I certainly wouldn't use the term pants and I think you have done it a disservice. I think there could have been more trade sellers if I'm honest but this was the shows first year.....unlike Earls Court or Southampton.
Hopefully like I said the show will grow as traders get wind....after all it is out of season.
Just out of interest what did you find was missing from the show?

No Dave not involved. What impressed me was how friendly the show felt....Often you find that folks can be a bit snobby at such shows. I like the fact it's in February at a time when we can't do too much and like I said I hope it evolves into a good show....some of the mainstream chandlers showing up would help. I would say that if you have to travel a fair way it may not add up just yet, but for me it's not far away.
Hope you're well.
