have a look at the stolenboats.org site which will give you some idea allthough not all boats stolen are recorded on that site, it also shows recovered boats. You might have to go through and browse and record numbers manually. Ive had a good look in the past and to me looks like there are some patterns you can determine. for example looking at ribs over a period of several years it would seem that there are far more stolen on traliers than in the water (ease of stealing them), and most under 7M with around 5M in length being the most stolen (maybe more ribs of that size around), also when one rib is stolen in a particular geographic area then you can be sure that 2 or 3 more will be stolen in same area over a 5 day period or there abouts. May indicate some form of organised gang in operation shipping them overseas.
