Bogging, Hooking & Stuffing

As a relativly new newbie to the world of ribs, I'm learning all the time. There seems to be a whole new associated vocabulary. So far, I've learned: Bogging, Hooking & Stuffing. I appeal to you wise rib gurus out there, what other associated words are there and, moreover, what do they mean...

Thanks - JD

A quick Google/YouTube should explain most of them, e.g.:

Hooking: https://www.rya.org.uk/newsevents/e-...nd-safety.aspx

Stuffing:

Bogging: https://www.boatdesign.net/threads/m...hrottle.13263/

These are all just basic power boating terms (to me anyway and I’m no expert !), and as above, a simple online search will describe all that’s needed, with YouTube no doubt the best source.
They are not part of a whole new rib language as you suggest.

He reminds me a lot of Gotchiguy, and I can't help but notice he's posted a slew of similar "help me with my assignment" stuff in the Site Announcements & Help forum.

Teachers Comments: Must try harder!

Aye! For a bloke with a 10m RIB with 700hp on the back, he asks some pretty schoolboy questions. Mind you, it IS a Brig...

Many thanks for your helpful replies. I have clocked up around 250,000 sea miles including 10 TransAts. I was hoping this site would be more of a fraternity. Pity.

Sorry, but your achievements don’t impress me, if that is what’s meant.
They could be as passenger on a cruise ship for all I know [emoji849]
Your simple post was responded to with 2 simple, but helpful, replies.
Here’s hoping you’re not my instructor teaching me whatever it is you know [emoji6]
Good luck [emoji1303]
