Bombard tube pressure

I’ve just purchased a Bombard Ribster 500 and the tubes seem overinflated to me. I’ve read the manual but I still can’t see how to get into the valves, I’ve never come across these before. Do I unscrew them and if so do I need a special tool? Thanks John

Just press the bit in the middle of the valve with the cover unscrewed to let some air out if you feel it needs it, simple!

Thanks Patchb the problem is how do I get the cover off? I’ve tried twisting but it’s hard to get a grip () do I just twist anticlockwise?

Counter clockwise twist for all valves I have ever seen, but a picture or brand of valve would be helpful if you can't figure it out. You MUST use a pressure gauge though. What may feel full isn't and what feels normal might just be overfilled.

Silicon spray or gel lube might help make it easier in the future once it breaks loose. A pair of large slip joint pliers could help add more force by opening the jaws wide and push straight on. No need to clamp hardly at all. Plastic that's been in the sun breaks easily.

Okay, went straight out this morning, grabbed one of the covers and undid it! Wasn’t using enough strength. Okay, I feel a bit daft but as I hadn’t come across these before I thought I’d check before blundering in. Thanks everyone. John
