Are the 480 bombarde a good rib it looks mint any thoughts would be great thanks

Bombard explorer? They are alright. Medium v so not the greatest in rough water but certainly capable enough for a leisure boat. Depending on the set up I think they tend to be a bit stern heavy and benefit from a bit of ballast in the bow.

As with all boats it comes down to your intended use case - if you aren't going to be out in all weather's and want to use it for playing about you'll likely be pleased with it, but if you are looking for a hard core rib for serious conditions you'll think it's naff! I have a 4.5m avon adventure which is a similarly capable rib and the overall opinion on here tends to be a bit negative, but for the sea states I will realistically encounter in my use it is fine.

We had Bombard explorer 500,great first rib,stable platform.
as said not a rough weather rib.
only sold it as seats and console were moulded into floor and not movable.
