Hi All,
I'm going to buy a hypalon rib (4m30) that I am planning to keep in the water from april until October.
The hull will have anti-fouling. But of course the tubes will not. So I have some questions
Leaving it in the (fresh) water all season:
- Is there a wax/something to protect the tubes before putting it in the water?
- Planning on cleaning it once a month or something whilst still in the water. Would that be enough, would that be a simple water-only wash with a sponge or a brush, or do I need some sort of shampoo?
Mostly afraid of irreversible damage or discolouration to the tubes because of algae and cockles/clams growing (not sure the correct english term)
Any further tips, please share
Thanks!
