breezeblocks new boat project

So the last few months have been a fairly busy time the decision was taken to get a bigger boat and sell the old boat it seemed like a step backwards selling a 18 month old boat to buy a boat that was almost 12 years old but it was the only way to go I was looking for a boat that would seat 6 people comfortably and have a good bit more protection from the elements as its mainly the west coast that we go to and still be small enough to launch and recover easy/store so this is what we bought it needed a fair bit of work to make it into what we need but there was very little like it on the market so it ended up being a total strip out back to a bare hull

I started building the console canopy a few months ago as it was going to get fitted on our original humber but it was decided that the proportions of the humber it wouldn't have looked right so it was shelved for a while so in august the humber was sold and we bought the north craft 6.3 that was advertised on here it was fitted with a new 150 honda and was going for reasonable money

as the deck wasn't flat in the right place I had to build up the deck to get the console mounted far enough forward to get the seats in the new anchor locker and new seats were moulded as well

Looks like the accounts are still there for other reasons (share protection perhaps incase they sell the assets perhaps, name, moulds etc if they have them are worth something), their domain name has been available since 2016 and zero posts anywhere since 2015.

Their fillings look like dormant accounts in all but name.

I.e they look gone or at least not building much if anything.

Like The finish/layout on the Consul ect....I fancy you'd sell a few of those in you're neck of the woods if you could make them viably.
I definitely wouldn't have the fuse board/isolater ect mounted on the deck?? though..
.ANY water Ingres and you'd be soon have problems..

the electrics aren't mounted on the deck they are mounted on a flat panel at knee height if the water reaches that height its the last thing I will be worried about as the boat will be underwater

there was a load of hours in building it the boat was turned around in 4 weeks from bare to functional I would dread to think how many hours it took. it was never built to be a pretty gin palace as I quite like the sort of work boat appearance ,for the west coast I think its spot on it makes one hell of a difference not getting your eyeballs stung with rain the other major plus was the fuel economy a bigger boat with more hp and gets the same if not better mpg a big plus for the honda

That is very good and turning it round in four weeks is just showing off.

Do you have a solar panel on top of the bimini / t-top / shelter?

Are the windows glass or plastic?
