I know, I know I read that first as well… but my view is “permanently immersed” is not what a rib hull is that sits on a trailer 99% of the time. In a Searider the deck is almost as immersed as the hull at times?

I read on this was not suitable to use on a keel boat that is on a swinging mooring for 5 months?

That was almost a year ago and the deck is normally awash with rain water any way and all seams fine.

Sorry I was meaning it wouldn't be any good for John's boat as He leaves it on a mooring.

Tim, I think I remember reading about your console being painted but didn't know it was brightside mate. Will go and have another read

Chewy and MDT, my boats no longer left on a mooring but can sometimes spend a few nights on the water.

What about brightside vs toplac? I couldn't find much difference in intended use between the 2.

Yeah so it says on that Link. With respect to the members across the pond, they don't sound American.

If you ignore Matts advice your a nobend John. I saw a transom he had restored and painstakingly hand painted and it wasn't possible to tell it was brushed on, best I've seen on a powerboat.

I dunno what type of roller he put the gloss on with though.

Brightside is getting very low on stock everywhere. I bought Warrington's Mailspeed marines last one.
