Has anyone experience of these bungee anchor lines (Anchor Buddy)for beaching, saw one in use at the weekend but can only seem to find them for sale in the states, seems a great idea!

sorry this isn't an answer, but i'd be interested in similar myself.
Saw it in use a couple of years ago, approaching a beach we threw out the stern anchor on the bungee, ran in to the beach and unloaded the main anchor, tied off with enough slack then let the bungee pull the boat back out in to deeper water. It saved anyone having to adjust the anchor for tidal movement (over a couple of hours only) and also anyone having to swim out to recover the boat after lunch - just pulled it in against the elastic when wanted to leave.
Any source of 'used' bungee cord? I think the stuff we saw in use was actual bungee jumping cord, elastic inside a protective nylon sheath.
Anyone able to suggest suppliers of this?

Don exactly that, I thought it was a fantastic idea and was great for beaching for a bbq and leaving stuff on the boat and as you say just pulling in and retrieving as and when you needed it! Saves getting wet every time!
Any sources anyone?

I would be rather reluctant to anchor with a rope that has a maximum 90kg loading - don't know if that's it's breaking strain though - anyone know???

Why not just use your normal anchor to set up a simple running mooring? Instead of anchoring the boat as you usually would, use your ground tackle to anchor a reasonable sized float at your chosen position then run a continuous loop from that float, long enough to reach (doubled) to the beach. Connect your boat into the loop, head for the shore, and then use the line to pull the boat out to the float. Secure the loop on the beach where you can pull the boat back in when you need it.
Needs a wee bit of equipment (not much), care in setting the anchor at the right point, and a long enough line to work the running mooring from above the tide-line ... but works well and you have the reassurance of keeping control of your boat with a line ashore
