I am glad this thread has been brought back to life, as by know I expect you are all wondering what has happenned to your Burgees. in short the answer is nothing!

I am still trying to design the artwork, and I am not very good at it. The printers want the design in JPG format to a higher resolution than is available from Ribalds design in this thread and I just can't get it to look right

Sorry for the delay, obviously I won't proces the cheques until I have the design sorted.

Cheers
Stuart

I am sure JK has a higher res. version he could e-mail...speak up John.

If you want someone else to have a go at the artwork (quite nifty with Corel PhotoPaint but still no graphic design expert) then i'll volunteer.

The RIBnet logo uses Gill Sans bold and Memo bold fonts. Unfortunately I seem to have deleted them from my system

If anyone has either of these fonts on their PC, could you email me and let me know?

Thanks
John

I've got Gill Sans, and Gill Sans Ultra Bold, but not Bold. If any of those are any use, then let me know. No sign of Memo Bold though.

If you want I can try to find a couple of similar fonts, and have a go at knocking up a higher resolution logo in GIMP.

If so, where can I get one, and a pennant?

I have 4 pennants left and you are welcometo one. I think Jools set a deal up with a T shirt company that enabled direct purchase from them.

Send me a PM with your address and I will sort out thePennant

cheers
Stuart

Yes, I noticed you were dressed all-over Charles. Even two ensigns. You probably gave a few yotties - those that care about "etiket", I mean - something of an 'eart attack.

No flags on Mag A that day - but I promise to try harder when next we meet.

OK guys I have just addressed the three envolopes to windchill, Aging Youth and Benjamin. Adressing Windchills envelope made me feel quite patriotic.

I'll go down the post office and send them recorded delivery tomorrow.

I think that "Wake up call " may well be renamed after that place in Wales with the long name, cos I like to get value for money.

If you are all OK with this then I'll place the order, I have just spoken to Britt and she says that Ist wave RIBS will pay the postage and packing

Big business eh,

It works out like this , 2 got lost in the post, I am still waiting for replacement cheques for three of the flags and I have now got two left.

It was originally meant to raise a bit of money as a thank you to JK so if the next two people to buy pennants please make the cheques out to John Kennet I will gladly ship the Pennants out and forward the cheques to JK
