Charles, I have come to the, I s'pose, blindlingly obvious conclusion that flags and high speed RIBs don't go together well.

Left my pristine 25-year old ensign up for day 2 of Brian's Sarf West bash and by the time I got home the aft edge was beginning to unravel.

So now, for me, flags are for high days and holidays - such as when I come to visit you - and need to be properly dressed.

Akshly, come to think of it...ydon't see many planes flyin' flags, d'you.

Good point - I'll remove the burgees off my remote control aeroplane - always wondered why they kept falling apart.
