busy
It' looks like my feet won't be getting dry for a while, which means I'll be having some pocket money this year. I've been toying with the idea of buying a Shakespeare 720 and sticking a pair of Opti'150's on the tail.
I'd be intersested to know what owners think of them, i'm more than happy that they are well made but am wondering what the ride is like and how stable they are in tight turns
ta
ps steve the boat need not reply to this thread

Just nipping in to Peterhead from the Janice platform to demob the ROV crew, then back out to curlew for a couple of weeks. are you rig based or on DSV's. good luck hope you get it finished soon.
Neil
nope, I was in another boat and was cruising all day with yours and was mostly impressed by what I saw. Unfortunately the driver was David Manning and he's too fkkn old and windy to put a boat through it's paces. I was impressed that it did outturn the boat I was in very significantly and that had to be dsown to your hull design as to Manning's driving ability.
I haven't driven or been on a rib for pleasure since Whiteshoes left, I do miss him, so I'd be happy to take you up on your offer. I'll have some fuel money.
thanks stuar

If you mean those sweaty disgusting things dangling off your ankles, they've never been dry.
Stuarts nickname on the rigs is Dai Thrombosis.
It's because he's welsh, slow and a clot.

keep up the banter guys I can take it, if only I knew how to dish it out eh!
Chrisd I think the main reason i'm having a good year is because I have had the same phone for ove 9 months now......that's gotta be a record for me.
BTW If I fall overboard out here I'm straight on a chopper and unemployed, the risk of seconday frowning is considered too high
over and out
DT
BTW when I was on the road my nickname used to be Dai Mented
PPS David just why is it that both your mates in Wolverhampton call you Thrush?

threads a bit old now ....just wondering if your still looking at the shakespeare......I beleive they are getting a website done, as they are asking for some piccys.
had mine out a few times last trip home ......57knots with the 21 prop and 53knts with the 19 pitch with just me and only 100litres of fuel ....had it on the forth , the day of the rb08 ....quite choppy but couldnt go too fast cause mrs dl shites herself when the white horses are out (loch lomand is fine for her though but too boring for me) ....delighted with it so far .... its quite a bow high boat ...so far been a good dry ride and had a few good landings as well ....verado can drink a bit on wot though
got the bolsters fitted but these will be coming out again and sold on ......great seats but i'm in the process of making 6 suspension seats which are shaping up nicely.... no room for them all
offers still open if you fancy a blast around glasgow or edinburgh
will need to update the build thread when i get back home
I
