a little word from XPRO
Hi All
Don't normally get involved in the forum when our boats are talked about but we have been watching this one and feel we need to correct a few issues.
The 535 hypalon package is available for much less than the suggestes £18k price. We are fully aware of UK built packages and understand that we need to offer better value to our client base that UK builders. That said, we invite anybody to come and inspect or test the strength and quality of finish of any of our products, they were designed by us and are built in a factory that is run by European builders. You can still buy some rubbish from China but you should all understand just how far they have advanced over the last ten years, our tubes are better and stronger than any build in the UK and the glass work now is fantastic. The country of origin is now irrelevant, look at your cars, appliances, phones, laptops, bikes etc etc. So much of it is made in China. The UK is the only Country that still has this hang up about where a boat is built. The ONLY important factor is WHO BUILDS THEM.
Please do not hesitate to talk to us about any worries or issues you may have and please feel welcome to inspect any XPRO rib.
Many thanks all and sorry for jumping in.
Cheers

That is a bit of sweeping statement!
Not saying you do not have a good product how the hell can you claim this?

To clarify. We are not talking about fabric options when we talk about tube quality, Valmex, ORCA, Dtex are all standard fabrics used by most of the manufacturers both UK and Foreign, thickness and density of fabric can vary of course. We are talking about tube specification, double strakes, multiple hand holds, multiple life lines etc etc.
We have no intention of getting involved in a forum conflict, there are many very good brands and boats available and you will never find us talking down about any boat that we do not have first hand experience with.
The over all point was simply that, if anyone is in doubt about a Chinese built boat then they are more than welcome to come and test ours.
Many thanks
Steve

So all options that are available on any bespoke UK boat then! I think if you are going to promote features of your boats rather than simply correct misinformation then you need to look at upgrading your membership.
