Buying advice

In considering a t40 . Person selling had said it's spent 2yrs on a trailer. Would this cause any untoward damage ?
Is the boat bent or is it just how it sits on the trailer ?

I can't work out what's what with the trailer. Is it only part on or part way tipped up?

At the point that photo was taken it looks poorly supported and possibly under inflated as well which will make it look worse.

But rarely is an inflatable put permanently out of shape.

From the cowl logos it looks like the outboard is loads older than the boat. What HP is it?

I think id be asking for more photos, that picture cant be the way it was sat during storage. Its not sat properly on the trailer in the picture. Being sat inflated shouldn't be any worse than being sat folded and deflated it should actually be better as the material isn't tightly folded

Cheers for the input so far 👍

It's a 1987 25hp engine. The boat was raised like that for cleaning.

Looks fine in those pics I'd imagine it will be fine doesnt have the weight of the engine on so unlikely there was any undue stress anywhere even if it wasn't fully inflated. Maybe worth checking for uv damage to the tubes if its been sat outside for that period. Look for hardening of the material or yellowing or stickyness of the rubber parts

Is the outboard in the first image the 25hp that comes with it? If so wonder if it’s a good bit older than a 1987 as as far as I can see it doesn’t have a thru hub exhaust and has that metal badge giving the hp. Someone may know better than me.
