They're fairly new over here in terms of market. The little I know is that they are a bit like Ribeye. If your ideas of "bit of music and drinks" probably with inflatables for kids, or cruising around for pleasure. It will probably be a good boat. Set out for that type of comfort and leisure use.
A lot of people on here are the more die hard, head out in a Force 5-6 for an 85mile cruise to test themselves and the boat. They want 4 jockey seats and strong fittings, with a hull that takes on the worst the sea will offer and tubes with as much bouyancy as they can get, so usually oversize tubes. The british smaller brands such as ribcraft, humber, ribquest etc are more akin to this set up, yet you can spec the boat with what you want if buying new. You can have twin jockeys with a bench at the back.
Arguably, ribcraft is a very well known brand, with good reputation, easily sellable to both the die hards and the leisure users of the solent, can be specced how you want and within your budget of £35k for a 6-6.5m
I'd probably point you in that direction.
Humber are typically a bit more utilitarian in their layout and fitment, other than v expensive leisure versions, but the hulls are great. Then there are a whole lot more. If you are from the North, Riquest are getting a good reputation along similar lines to Ribcraft but are currently a smaller outfit, yet customer service and speccing your boat will be easier. There are others of course, but there's some direction for you.
Scorpions and revengers are more money and you'd be looking second hand.
