Andy, you could ask Paul Lemmer directly at:
http://www.ribsltd.co.uk/contact.html
He used to build them. However probably best to ring him as he doesn't really do the internet thing.
Best guess is the hull weighs about 320 kgs and the engine 135 kgs. Add batteries, full fuel tanks, A frame and consoles etc to this and a good safety margin.

Scanned from a mid 1990's BWM Sales Brochure, if this helps.

Yes you can put any engine on it you like, as to whether it will be any good or dangerous will become apparent when you use it.

Should be 20"-21", to suit a longshaft motor.

Hi Wittevro!
Congrats! She seems big ! What's her size?
I also bought a Northcraft 6.3 in UK last year near Hull.
I'm very happy with her. You can have a look at my blog (see my profile), I'm preparing a backseat and would like to create a bow locker myself in epoxy but don't know where to start lol
I think that we have the same hull design, with the planing pad. Think it comes from a Fletcher design. Max engine spec. 200HP for mine.
Feel free to ask if you have any question!
I'm also member of the Belgian Pneumaticlub based in Brussels, if you are interested.
