Cabin rib choice
Hello all
After quite some time for various reasons I am nearly ready to look for a new rib (well second hand I think). I have been in the process of saving up enough money and the budget will be approx 46k.
The requirement will be for a proper cabin rib as we intent the boat to be a “keeper”.
I know I will not have enough money for a Scorpion for example, I see Redbay do a 7.5 cabin rib in that price range. However I am sure there are others, like I say I do expect it to be second hand, any advice on makes possibly within my budget would be appreciated.
Thank-you

Wasnt there an old ribtec cabin rib for sale on here sometime ago?
Are you looking to stay on the rib overnight or is the cabin just for storage / day use?
Think cougar have a R10 for sale at the moment at reasonable money http://http://www.cougar-powerboats....Brokerage.html
i know i shouldnt say this but does it need to be a rib? you can get a lot of cabin hard boat for your budget??

biffer was talking about selling his a while ago - not sure if that's still the case. May be worth dropping him a pm, if his is the sort of thing you're looking for. I've seen it up close and it's a very smartly put together RIB.

The term Cabin can be a bit confusing. Do you mean a RIB with a wheelhouse or a cabin with berths? Obviously the Redbay is both, although they make wheelhouses without berths and vice-versa. Most of the others are berths only...

have a look at the redbay site, there are a few 8.4 cabin ribs, they are advertised at more then your budget but you never know, some have been up there a long time. make a few calls, you might get lucky.
