Can anyone identify who makes this hatch?
Any idea who made this hatch? I need 3 from them as they seem to be slightly larger screw spacings than the normal screw closure hatches. I don't recognise the maker's mark.

I actually need a different size to the one in the pic as well, and I can't find out the name of the manufacturer. It's a bit item specific as the one covering my fuel sender is a slightly larger cutout than any other hatch near that size.

No joy-Ribshop say it's a standard picture and they sell Barton hatches. It's not a Barton.
Anyone got any ideas?

Yes-it's not one they stock either.
Thanks though
basically for others reading this, as the screws on these hatches are slightly more spaced out than on Barton hatches, the holes in the boat are slightly bigger too, so if I try and use a Barton hatch the screws just drop into fresh air.

It's not just that one hatch that's the issue-there's 3-a 6 inch and 2x10 inch hatches on the Ballistic, all with the same logo and all fitted in South Africa.
When I asked JBT marine they didn't know who makes them and they import the Ballistics.
I've managed to find a contact at Ballistic in SA, so hopefully I'll be able to get some but it's a real ballache having to order and ship from that far away so finding out whose logo that is could make life a whole load easier.

Yes-these 2 hatches.
Both with the same logo.
Ballistic in SA can supply them, but the shipping is crippling (nearly £100) and they won't tell me who makes them...

Take them out and replace the hatch and deck ring with ones of similar diameter that you can source in the UK?

That's the issue-the hole in the deck is cut for the hatch that's in there and is fitted at the factory in SA. The screw holes in the current hatch are about 1/2" further apart than any generic similar size ones available in the UK so there's nothing under the screw holes to fix the screws into.
I did consider taking it out to an 8" hole, but the generic 8" hatches aren't anywhere near as beefy as this one.

Bump-just got the quote to get some over from South Africa and it's going to be £183 for 2x3" hatches and 2x6" hatches so if ANYONE recognises it?

Sorry, can't help with id-ing yours, but if you want a bullet proof hatch, try Bailey Marine I've got one in my deck for access to the sounder transducer & you could literally drive a bus over it. Not cheap, but might compare with buying yours from SA

Is it the 4" hatch you've got there? If it is, can you measure the distance between 2 opposite screw hole centres for me please?
