Can you recommend a bareboat charter in or around Weymouth?

Hi All,

I'm a long time lurker on here and still saving up for a RIB of my own. I'm off to Weymouth with the inlaws next week and was wondering if anyone could recommend a good reputable bareboat RIB charter company? We're looking to charter a RIB for 1 day and I've got my RYA Level 2 Advanced qualification.

Bareboat Rib Charter in Devon Cornwall Dorset the Solent. not sure on what quals they ask for but worth a call. Not sure also if you have advanced or PB2 from your post. I am sure someone will be local otherwise and will be along shortly

Cheers for the reply. I've just checked my qualification and it's RYA Powerboat Intermediate which I got a couple of years ago. I did have a look at the link that you posted but was hoping to find somewhere that chartered for less than £700/day.

I don't know of any in Weymouth, but I've used Solent RIB Charter in Lymington and would definitely recommend them.

Could you run to two days? Pick up in Lymington then go to and from Weymouth by sea. Also reduces time actually spent with in laws which might be construed as a bonus :;

If you can get to Lymington you can get to Bembridge? In which case Jim Robinson offers bare boat... ...and is a ribnet trade member!

Thanks for all the suggestions guys, much appreciated! I think we may have to give it a miss this time around as I didn't realise how expensive it can be just for a single day when you factor in fuel and VAT. They'll just have to wait until I get one of my own!
