Canisters on Rescue/Response RIBs

Hi RIB friends. I've seen in many pictures of RIBs used for rescue/response in Europe what looks like some sort of yellow canister attached to the antenna arches on these boats. They're not the compressed air tanks that would inflate the self-righting system. Here in the U.S. I've never seen anything similar. Can anyone tell me what these are? Thanks for any help.

They are just dry storage boxes for first aid kit/tools/flares etc. Dry storage space is at a premium on a RIB.

Thanks for the responses. Right you are on the storage space comment. That's the reason we mounted an electronics box in the upper part of our t-top. Not used for electronics though, just dry storage.
