Carbon Hypalon. - anyone got a pic of a rib

I’ve seen the wear patches, but has anyone got a pic of a boat with tubes made from it?

We are returning the yellow cardinal and currently picking black with carbon wear patches. I can’t picture the full tubes in it though.

If it's anything like fabric impression hypalon, it's a nightmare to clean.

I have a small sample. It feels smoother than the fabric impression, just hexagonal shapes giving some texture.

Game over! These are the two samples with dry flour (imagine white bird crap) rubbed in with finger, then tried to wipe off. The carbon would clearly need a brushClick image for larger version

RIBase
Hi,

We have several ribs here at the Dry Stack that have fabric impression tubes (including a Stingher, Hydromax, & Ribeye). They are black and dark grey and all seem no more difficult to keep clean than normal hypalon (although they are all fairly new ribs).

I'll try and post some pics later today.

Steve

Deck brush works best on my fabric impression. Obviously you can’t clean them with acetone if it gets stained. Or sand it if scratched.

Carbon doesn’t have the same finish as the impression and can be cleaned easily.
