Chandler recommendation Soton?

Hi
We have boat based near Northham Bridge. Southampton
What chandlers come recommended - this side of town?
Not looking at anything specific - just a good varied general selection.

please advise?
Thanks
Paul

Marine Superstore in Port Solent have pretty much everything - just a short hop along the M27.

From the Northam Bridge, your closest would be Shamrock Chandlery (in Shamrock Quay on the Itchen), they're pretty well stocked, then if you head towards Portsmouth along the A27 you'll get Alladins Cave Chandlery on the Hamble just past Burseldon Bridge, closely followed by Andark Diving.

I know you can collect from Aquafax, but I thought the megastore were mail order only?

I've been into marine megastore to collect cables and stuff for my gps before, they seemed to have a chandlery upstairs in the place in Hamble... I needed it in a rush, and he told me to come and collect ... it may not be open as a chandlery though, not sure

Yep - Shamrock Chandlery is only minutes away for you. Their discount card is good - they send you a cheque at the end of the season which is a nice bonus!
