change of boat name?

what do u think of changing a boats name i heard its bad luck what do u think?

changed the name on my first boat, after around a yr or so the engine blew up!! but in the end I still sold it for 2k more than I paid for it, even after the repair bill

not sure if it was bad luck or good luck!!
