changing sizes and types...
I am maybe looking at getting something like a Fairline Targa...this goes against all my RIB loving...but I don't think I can justify spending a sum of £45,000 plus on something that at the end of the day is a day boat.... Is there anyone else who is boat minded and would like to have a RIB in addition to a larger cabin boat...
I would also like to have a 6 ish metre RIb something like an Avon 6.2, tried it at the boat show and loved it...
I am not looking just at the moment...as am away on ship till next febuary but am looking into ideas...such as going in halves with someone who maybe wants a larger cabin boat but also a RIB..is there anyone in this site who has thought of that...I am looking at maybe up to £100,000 for a Cabin boat so to get a fairly newer one up to maybe 5/6 years old...and also £20,000 on a RIB... therefore a total of £120,000...yes very expensive but a partnership of maybe 2 even three people...I think it would be better to pay £60,000 or even £40,000. I spend up to 2 years away in an 3 year period and therefore can not justify like all the other large cruiser owners of having a boat sat there in a Marina collecting dust...a boat is to be used...two boats even better...If u both want to use it...then if u have two maybe swap each day but both stay on it overnight...???
So anyone else thought of boat sharing... I am not a joyriding youngster...I am young but enjoy quality boats for passage making to parts u can't get to...normally...
So any one thought of this idea too??
Alex
