For anyone interested in a generator :-
I found new Honda generators at a good price, these are the (pretty silent) portable ones. The 700w EX7 model (58db) is £499 incl VAT (very,very cheap), the 1,000w EU10i (52db) that I bought is £645 incl VAT, and with that one you get a free Honda battery charging lead (worth £29.99). These are the cheapest I've seen, next day delivery is £10. I got mine this morning.
