Most of the times when i see Rib movies made with whatever brand of action-camera, i am always wondering why you guys are so trilled about the movies.
In many cases you never get a good impression of how rough the going was, you see shaking heads and bodies, or the wake!!! It would be much more interesting to see some footage of other ribs moving alongside. Would give a much better idea.....
So 250GBP for a camera seems a bit excessive to me!! But nevertheless i wish you all the good luck with it!!
i 'd like to spend that money on gasoline and push the throttle really hard, many times and enjoy the thrill of my adrenaline!!!
you do not have to agree of course

Just off out to hire a second boat every time I go out....makes fora real cheap camera experience..£200 for camera, another couple of k for second boat.....yep that makes sense...
If it's that rough to be interesting enough for you....it's just bloody dangerous to put two boats close to each other.
It's been a long day and I think your post is very badly worded, vaguely patronising and I've yet to see your latest film.......that's my opinion...

Sorry, it was not my goal to blame or hurt somebody.
And yes i will most of the time be out with other ribsters, especially when it is rough bcoz it is much safer to have backups....
And no i do not have an action camera, so you will not see my latest film bcoz there is none. sorry
Apologies accepted i hope

Ha HA, that made me laugh, I thought you must have been having a bad day when I read your first response, I reckon you owe bliksem an ice cream or something. Or maybe a video of your next run out ... LOL ...LOL ...
Actually I better not laugh as im boatless at the moment while its being fixed, getting serious withdrawl symptoms, might have to launch my small tender some time soon.
All the best

ice cream? nono although!!! maybe a good UK beer.
i wish Pete better days at his office and a blessed life!!
maybe we could go out together one day with our boats!! I have the same rib as Tony T's.
I have some footage of a rib (Tornado) of a friend, filmed from my boat with a Lumix TZ20 (that i bought from a guy here on ribnet).
Very flat water i must admit: but you know what my friend likes it so much bcoz we rarely see our own rib on video or picwhen in action. Thats is why i guess it is so useful to use the action cameras to video eachothers ribbing!!!
