Someone obviously saw the value in refurbishing it, wether he paid £60 or £600 is almost irrelevant in the grand scheme of what they will spend to put it on the water. Hopefully its someone who knows what's involved & not someone who thinks they can slap a few tyre patches on hang an engine & go boating.
Be good to see it finished to a good standard.

Let's see if the buyer collects, I have had countless auctions ending in no shows and no contact at all from highest bidders.

You’re brave or you have big pockets, or both. With Harry Dwyer finished his series, I need something to get me through the winter. Now remember, no shortcuts, no cheap Amazon quick-fixes or getting ‘her indoors’ to nip up to the hardware store for some copper nails!

To be fair the project wouldn't scare me....but there was a lot of work to be done on that transom.

Yup but it was £1,439 and no waste there it is the best so far. You can’t take your money with you.

Have you bought that second smaller sib yet looking forward to some pics and review

No still waiting for Excel to confirm the specs. I doubt it will be that much smaller but I'm hopeful it it will be a lot lighter. I've also decided it will be a replacement and not a second sib. If I do get the new Explorer it won't be delivered until March next year.
