JK, not much really, nice products they are making however when I was selling boats in the past I was selling Sillinger (SIB) and later Avon and we gave Zodiac dealer in Iceland hard time and that was heck of a fun so that is colouring my view towards Zodiac.

isn't this a bit like the Ribcraft 'mitigator' with a similar 'shock mitigation system'?

They are similar concepts, although I would say that Zodiac are definitely leading on the marketing hype. At least they've got some waves in their video !
As far as I can see they are both very conventional RIBs fitted with big consoles and Ullman suspension seats. They certainly look like great boats, but I can't see that they are quite as revolutionary as they are made out to be.
If anything I would say that the Ribcraft is more "cutting edge" than the Zodiac as it has the full Ullman system including handle bar controls.
Perhaps we could arrange a back to back test
John

Looks fantastic - so tyically Yank in concept - should be a winner - just like the Hummer - the fact the Hummer is really no better than a Land Rover and often LESS well suited to the job is neither here no there - the Yanks are great at glamour and that is what sells!!!
Bet we wont see one of these beating the Revengers etc in the Round Britain record runs.................

I'm choking on my morning cuppa!
It's just a 7.3m RIB with twin 150s and fancy seats.
Good video!

$193,000 they must be crazy! You could get into a Willard 730 out here in the U.S for alot cheaper than that, and the Willard would perform just as good or better. Dont get me wrong that hurricane is an ureal boat, but for $193,000 it better have wings.

Looks like it has wings
Watching the video makes it look like she is in the air more than the water. I hear that she will do around 50 knots.

Well, im impressed!! There arent many military boats about which look cool (in a macho kind'a way).
No cool boxes or cup holders here!
Just wish i had $193,000 kicking about.
