Check your lifejackets. You might get a shock-I just did. I just did a manual inflation test on ours-Lazilas Sigma 2's. I found that on mine not only the manual valve had jammed closed and wouldn't inflate but there was a 1mm puncture hole in the 'balloon'. No obvious damage on the outer. Jacket less than a year old.

I hate to think what would have happened if I'd needed it for more than a minute or so.

Yup, my crewsaver is about 5 years old now, going to dump it this year and get a new one. Some people might disagree with this but for the sake of a few quid for a new one I'd like to have the re-assurance....

-EDIT- Just decided to inflate both my fathers and mine as we're buying new cylinders anyways. My 5 year old is holding pressure fine and inflated in about 2-3seconds. My fathers (1 year old) had a loose cylinder and only half inflated. I will be more careful from now on!
