Churchillian, 12thJuly

Hi everyone

After some of us met up at the churchillian last month for a beer, it was suggested we try to arrange it once a month.

At the time I suggested the 12th July, same place, same time(19.00 - 20.00)

Who's up for it this month?

Nasher.

Down the old A3 until the George Pub on your right, and B2177 goes over the top of the A3, take next left up the hill and do a 180. At junction turn left on to B2177. Drive one mile and you are there. Pub on the right. Magnificent view on the left.

Ignore the arrow onthe map, its the nearest place I could think off.

Scurvy Crew and I will be there too.

All back to AY's after for coffee then (sorry FL - that'll teach you not to go pulling "big air" )

Hightower - is a "Jawbreaker" worth driving 60 odd miles for?

Peter, there not as good as 15years ago because the price has gone up, but all the same ingredients and well recommended, had one last week watching the 4th July celebration fireworks on USS Enterprise and found all the bits that I missed in the car the following morning

I am sure I don't know what you could possibly mean by that !!!

But if anyone wants coffee, and can cope with Kids and dog you are more than welcome.

I may even show the photo's of ribald a little worse for wear at the fountain !( being sobber and in charge of the camera does have it's benefits! )

Just a reminder , I hear that they are laying on free drinks tonight as they think all our boating war stories are very entertaining and keep their regulars in the pub and thus consume more beer
