clamp on transom wheels

Hello all,

Are there many clamp on transom wheels available for a small RIB?

I know there are some selling on ebay but the RIB has to be transported upside down. I don't see the value in that as I will need to haul a 31kg engine. Wanted to avoid drilling the transom to attach the wheels but it looks like it's the only way?

31kg of load, plus boat weight doesn't lend it's self well to clamps holding it in position IMHO.

Took a look at the Gurnard s posts on the FRIB... He mad some sort of dolly...

Is this just to avoid drilling holes? If so don't worry... many of us do it to our SIBs and it doesn't spoil or devalue them.

If you have other reasons for not wanting transom wheels then could you make use of a folding launch trolley or similar...

Thank you for the replies.

Yes my concern was drilling the transom. However it seems as though this is standard practice. What is the name of the sealant used on the drilled holes?
