Cleaning a Rib Cover

What do you use to clean your rib cover ? not sure of the material they are made of but when knew the water used to bead if it rained, now mine tends to soak in, do you think you could use some form of water repellent spray similar to what is used on goretex jackets etc ?

you need fabsil, try amazon the bigger can the better value, use garden spray, wear a mask. I have found cup of bio soapowder in hot water the best to clean
the cover as it kills green algae, make sure you rinse well and fabsil only when dry.
