Cleaning tubes.

Just joined Ribnet, so here is my first post.
I am preparing my RIB Unlimited for the season here in Sweden as the ice has now melted! Does anybody have any tips for removing weed/marine life from Hypalon tubes? The rear of the tubes is in contact with seawater when at rest, it seems to be nearly impossible to remove!

A good scrubbing and a few days spare time!! Thats how I remember tackling my Valiant after it had been left in for 2 months!! When you get the tubes clean, eventually! Put on some kind of rib cleaner, protectant. I use "Ribshine" and haven't been scrubbing since.

These guys do a hypalon cleaner - http://www.southernmarine.co.uk/index.htm

You could try somethign like that but i found it just needed a good scrub or a blast with the pressure washer.

Hi;

You can give me a call, i have a very good cleaner called Sea Power that we are using, removes almost everything and also protects the tubes.
You find my number and mail on my homepage below.
