What are the best products for cleaning tubes, and then protecting afterwards ?
Many thanks

I use a "Mr. Clean" magic eraser with water. It works very well on my PU tubes! Don't know for hypalon and pvc.

Fairy Power Spray is meant to be good. Not tried it myself but the results of other people are very searchable in the RIBnet archives.

I use RIB revive once a year, after the winter months. Then just fresh water after every trip to rinse off any crap.

I tried Fairy Power Spray recently. I have to say that I was underwhelmed by the results. Mind you, I didn't leave it on for the prescribed ten minutes as the rubber fitting were running black! Having scrubbed it off with cloth and hose, there was still quite a bit of whitish streaking on drying - enough to make me wary of a second go (although I'll give it one more chance)

Tubes finished with 303 UV Protectant - easy to apply, nice mattish finish but OMG, talk about Slippery When Wet - absolutely treacherous!

Ribshine works real good, but is aggressive, can leave white streaking if not totally covered.

It is aggressive and quite normal to see the colour of your tubes running off when rinsing but is the best stuff I have found together with the rib conditioner. Have tried the fairy power spray and doesn't even come close. Rib shine should not be used in the sun or left on longer than recommended and rinsed off well. Provided you follow the instructions it looks great
