Cobra console perspex windsceeen

Hi, I have a 2007 8.6 cobra and the console Perspex/ windscreen is looking a little tired. Does anyone know who makes these or where I could get one made?

I have tried cobra and wondering if there are any cheaper alternatives.

Thanks in advance

Yep I think Nugent on here is your best bet.

I've not yet seen any of his screens in the flesh but the pics on here look really good as well as the feedback.

I've just sent him a PM about a screen for my rib as well so hopefully I'll have first hand experience soon.

Cheers
Rob

Nugent: Out of curiosity, do you use acrylic or polycarbonate for your windscreens?

I had an acrylic screen on my boat that eventually broke; would like to get a formed (rather than glued or welded) polycarb replacement, but it's pretty pricey, and hard to find someone who will do a one-off forming job without inducing bubbles.

Can do both but poly carb is so dam expensive one offs are my line of work

ICI genuine Perspex impact modified is my normal substrate to work with,
and is fitted to my own vessel be surprised if you break one,, plenty out there with no complaints to date

Hey nugent, is ici perspex readily available? My screen is flat what thickness would you use. It's about 1000mm×600mm.

6mm or any thing you want really.
If flat best use 10mm plenty in stock so long as its just clear Smoked costs to much to buy a sheet then leave it hanging around gathering dust,
