Cobra Viper 4.2 won't plane

Hi,
I have just purchased a cobra viper 4.2m rib with a 30hp yamaha engine. It is approx. 3 years old and has 60 hrs on the clock.
The problem i have is does not seem to plane and goes along with its nose in the air. Also it seems that the back rhs tube is lower in the water. I would appreciate any views on this.
Thank you

Does it have power trim? If not manually adjust the leg in and try it again. Quite low power but I would have thought it would manage to get on the plane.....

Have you made sure the hull is empty? I used a 6m with a 140 that the hull had filled with water & that wouldn't plane! It it took ages to empty & turned out to be a doggy bung.
