It's a Dixonbate R2B61 or something like that!. Takes 1500kg gross. Trailer itself being 420kg according to the plate - which seems alot to me . Rig apparently weighs 1150 gross so far according to Osprey, but I haven't been to a weighbridge. I will if I can in due course.

Let's hope that there aren't too many weighbridges on the Island, coz' I reckon you'll be tipping the scales at well over 1500kg.

Osprey also reckon the 5.8 Vipermax is 2.36m wide - mine is 2.48m

Get down there before you start adding stuff - I don't think 1500kg will be enough.

Rare we ever get frost on the ground, but we did this morning.

Nice to finally see some pictures. Looks lovely! Don't worry about all the bells and whistles, just get the bare minimum done and get her on the water, then develop her like that.
I bet you're itching to finally riding your steed across the waves.

Slow but methodical progress. I'm building a stock pile of bits in the lounge ready for fitting, but haven't fitted much other than a few hinges, 2 seat backs and a bollard! I'm being very selective on what I purchase to make sure it's exactly what I want. It'd be foolish to cut corners or regret something after it's been fitted.
Good news is that the engine is on order and should be here at the end of Feb. I'll hopefully get the looms and gauges in advance so I can get them fitted where I want.
Went to see the stainless people today and they have bent the tube for my A-frame, so just a bit of welding now and it'll be ready. (I've got a CAD drawing of it available if anyone can make use of it - you might want to see the finished article first I suppose )
Will post further updates as and when.

Looking good - what are you doing about sealing on the jockey pods - I want to mod mine to make them properly waterproof - do you use a rubber seal around the top or what???

I may use side hatches (like Prosport) and seal the seats cushions on the top. Haven't decided yet. It'll be tha last thing I do anyway.

Side hatches will definitely make it waterproof - the scumbag didn't fit them to mine as he had run out of money - he said it was a new design...........
Having said I am pleased they are top loaders - much easier to get stuff in and out - just got to get some waterproof seals on them. Done right i think top down is definitely more useable.

The A-frame arrived today. Haven't offered it up to the boat yet, but it looks good to me. Spent quite a bit of time designing it on CAD, so I hope I've thought of everything.
Got most of the bits now, all lined up in the lounge and ready for fitting. Must start putting bits on the boat and reclaim the carpet before there's a divorce Engine due in 4 weeks

Why don't women understand this sort of thing? Surely a nicey shiny A frame is a much better ornament than some silly vase or painting???
Tell her it's a decorative arch and wind flowers around it!!!

Wait 'til she sees the engine propped up against the sideboard
Laid out the keelguard yesterday and commented how there was ample space lengthwise for the boat in there, and if we knock the front window out.....

Slow but gradual progress. The engine is still somewhere in transit, so the A-frame is still in the lounge! I've managed to make some headway with the wiring however and have at last got hold of some of the little bits and pieces that I think will finish it off nicely. Check out the latches for the console door. It must have taken me three weeks to find what I wanted on the web, and then another 5 weeks delivery... but worth the wait. Was a bit shocked at the £40 each mind you But then what's £40 out of £25k or so in total!
Had to order the black flexi conduit from Brownspoint in America for the engine cables/loom. It is a Suzuki part but unbelieably not available in the uk. Strangely though the adaptor for the cowling end of it is. It should match up with the entry on the engine cowling and keep everything neat and tidy. The whole lot passes through it, including the fuel line so it'll all be protected from the sunlight and UV.
Just need to find some hatches that'll fit on the side of the jockey seat boxes and make a template for the console screen so I can get one of them made up. Perhaps another month and I'll be ready for the summer
